Twenty Four !
My youngest ‘baby’ turns twenty three four tomorrow. Yup, all grow’d up, that one. It was a pleasure to treat him to lunch today. I remember the day he turned 21 ~ we took him for dinner to a restaurant where we could legally order him his first official pint of beer. Today’s lunch was at our friendly local pub.
And he has iced tea. Whatta sweetheart ♥ We had a great lunch and chatted as moms and sons do ~ about everything since the last time I saw him [two days ago]. I guess I’m not very good at NOT seeing my children; I miss them when I don’t. After a rather leisurely meal, we came back to my home and he fixed my computer for me. It turns out I had been backing up all my LightRoom photos in RAW format and therefore using up twice the space on my computer. He also set up my watermark on LightRoom which is my signature ~ you’ll see it going forward on all the photo I’ll be taking.
Why do kids make everything look so easy to do?
While he was setting up my watermark ~ cleaning up and defragmenting my files (Geek sQuad would’ve cost me $300 for what he did!!) ~ we tried to take pictures of birds with the 85mm which I had on my camera. Got one good shot out of many. We had to do this quickly as my husband had called and told us to hunker down because we would get dumped on in ten minutes. Yes, my storm chaser sweetheart calls when he sees the dark clouds headed my way. He knows I don’t like am not good at driving in the rain.
Here’s our winged visitor. Next time I go to the store, I’m getting me some bird feed.
I need spring to come soon. I’m really VERY tired of (1) the cold (2) the rain (3) a cough (4) drying Newman’s paws (5) gloomy days. And NOPE, I’m not whining. Just saying!

Oooh I don’t even know how to set up a watermark. What a good son! Happy Birthday to your baby!
thanks! It’s easy if you have Photoshop and Lightroom. I’ve asked him to write an instruction post for me. He is a sweetheart.
