Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!   Guess who went to work wearing green?

Yup ~ my dear husband is wearing shorts today and is sporting his favorite beverage on his leg.  I put this temporary tattoo on him last night while he was already in bed.  He has one unhairy spot on his leg so I was able to stick this on him.  Him don’t get pinched today!

We are not Irish but corned beef was on sale at the grocery the other day and was an easy to plan meal, so I’ve got that in the crockpot.  With potatoes.  No cabbage.  Our tummies are quite sensitive.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow and the weekend as my DH will be home for March Madness all day basketball so we will be spending most of our day in and out of our pub [below] where they get all the games on satellite.  My daughter will be off and will most likely join us for a meal and I might get some smooshies from the little one.

A yearly ritual for us that we look forward to.  Do you have favorite things planned throughout the year [besides the holidays, of course].   Fun things and off the beaten path yearly events?  Don’t you look forward to these memory making days?  I sure do.
