Herein lies the creation and the beginning of the Grammi Diaries – the daily rants and raves of a boomer grandparent , in search of an alternative nomenclature / noun / descriptive word to replace that somewhat repulsive ‘cross-over’ word…GRANDMA. While it means an achievement in life and longevity…it brings to my mind momma in muumuu , and I am not ready for that. It will be my take on life as a mother of a new mother and the most amazing feeling of being grandparental. If no one ever prepared you for this experience…the good and the bad, the hilarious and the oops poops moments, then I will share my stories with you. It is a brand new world and a new journey into my unknown.

This is my head and my heart writing. Sometimes, the two are not in sync, so I beg your forgiveness right here and now.
